What's New

New Molds!

Sneer prototype Sneer prototype Sophie prototype Sophie prototype

Campbell Plaster and Iron in Rutland, Vt just finished the molds for "Sophia" and "Sneer" this October. I can't wait to cast a bunch of these guys and paint them up!

New Materials!

After nearly five years of mucking around with fiberglass, Liquache, thermal plastics, sculpting epoxy, etc etc etc I have finally settled on an old favorite with a new twist, Paperclay coated with Sculpt or Coat, something of a plastic cream. Masks made with this combination are lightweight, nearly waterproof, and tough enough to be dropped repeatedly or banged into doorframes and such. (With those big ears, it's usually doorframes that the masks bang into.)

New Personnel!

Testing for Comfort Testing for Strength The Monkey-Eye Test

Isabelle Helene Rouillard Wightman, two years of age, new head of the Materials Testing Department. If she can't break it, neither can you. Shown at right applying the stringent Plastic-Monkey-in-the-Eye test.

Old, but Still Kinda New

Rival prototype Sylvan prototype

Still plugging away on Sylvan and Rival. One of these days I'll get them done.
