This mask was cast in a paper and glue laminate for the optimum combination of both strength and light weight. It was then painted by hand in acrylics in shades of grey with shimmery metallic silver horn, and finished with a long hand sewn mixed grey and black Kanekalon hair mane.
This mask has a custom made, adjustable black leather headband and straps by Champlain Leather in Burlington, VT. It will fit most adult sized heads.
The matching hand painted wood and paper mache stand shown is included with the mask, so that it will be equally at home at a costume party or on a shelf with a collection of figurines or memorabilia.
Signed, marked "Sans Souci Studios" and dated inside by the artist.
